Harry Potter

See some of Pomona's most amazing professors discuss one of the most amazing literary phenomena...EVER!

Join the Pomona Student Union and Professors McWilliams, Eisenstadt and Fitzpatrick for a panel discussion on the philosophical, political, and theological questions that the Harry Potter series poses, such as:

What does finite life mean in the context of ghosts and live paintings?
Why is religion absent from the text?
Does the process of sorting parallel segregation?
Why is power considered evil?
What are the ethics of house elves and slavery?

The Liar - Corneille

Come see the Theatre Department's production of THE LIAR!

A comic masterpiece by the Master of French classical tragedy in a brilliant verse translation by Ranjit Bolt. Based on a Spanish play, The Liar is a charming cream puff of illusion and reality in which the hero's inventive fantastic lies create ever-new complications.
